Del’s Aug. foreclosures are 12th worst in U.S.
Delaware is among the leaders, but not in a category of choice.
The state had the 12th highest foreclosure rate in the nation in August, turning in the worst performance on the East Coast, according to RealtyTrac. The Delaware rate was one foreclosure for every 606 households, for a total of 654 filings that month.
Worst in the nation was Nevada, which had one foreclosure for every 118 properties, followed by California (1 in 226); and Arizona (1 in 248)
