The mission of Legal Services Corporation of Delaware, Inc., is to use the practice of law to help low-income families in Delaware. LSCD addresses legal issues that threaten the economic independence of low-income Delawareans, so that families can live with dignity. Renting an apartment or house is something almost everyone does sooner or later. Whether you already have a place to live or if you are currently searching, this brochure contains some advice that will hopefully make renting a little easier.

What is The Legal Services Corporation of Delaware, Inc. (LSCD)?
LSCD is a non-profit organization that offers legal advice and assistance to people who cannot afford a private attorney.
LSCD works to give low-income individuals an opportunity to exercise the rights they have been granted by law. We are not a political or religious organization.
LSCD handles only civil cases. We do not handle any criminal matters.
